Leaderboards

As a gamefunding site everything we do will focus on the gaming experience, so we added a little competition and incentive to our site. Gamelaunched users can level up just like playing a game! We created XP points for every backing amount and when a user backs a projects or shares a campaign on any social network site, XP points accumulate to level up users. While competing on our XP Leaderboard, users can exchange XP points for merchandise in our marketplace and get bragging rights over other users.

The XP will work as follows

5 XP will be awarded each time a user shares a project via twitter, facebook, google+, email or any other means when using the share buttons on the project pages.
10 XP will be awarded for each dollar contributed to a campaign. Contribution XP will only be awarded if the campaign is successful and the contribution is completed.
250 XP will be awarded for the highest bidder after each succesful campaign.
500 XP will be awarded for creating a project that gets approved by GameLaunched. These points are awarded once the project has successfully been approved and do not depend on whether the project is successful or not.
