[UPDATE, April 8] Multiplayer is ready! Time to kick your friend and show who is the boss! Alternatively, just help your buddy discover hidden treasures, skins, hats and statuettes.

Main Features

• Different types of environment: sunny tropical paradise, storm madness, underground tunnels, underwater craziness and even procedural generated in-the-air platformer!
• At the end of each level the Ostrich gains experience points and upgrades with new skills and abilities.
• Custom skins support. Tired of existing skins? Add your own!
• Lots of collectibles and hidden bonuses, ones discovered they can be closely examined in the Nest or used for your Ostrich customization.
• Two difficulty levels: "Relaxing", where you can slowly investigate the islands, searching for collectibles with nothing to worry about, and "Escape", where constantly rising water level adds some stress but increases score multipliers in return.
• Multiplayer!
• Global leader board and country scoreboard across all platforms.
• Your score and game progress are saved in the cloud. You can easily start to play on your Windows machine at home and continue on a Mac/Linux computer at office  your friends place.

About Developer

My name is Yaroslav Bakh and I am the creator and owner of MeDungeon Games, the one-man independent games studio from Finland. I have over 15 years of experience in a serious software development business, building multi-tier, client/server applications. The game development is my passion and hobby, which I spent most of my free time.

I have started this game alone, but now we have a wonderful team working on it. Meet the people behind the Ostrich Island project:

Funding Purpose

Received funding will be used for:

• Additional game assets (more objects to interact, more enemies);
• The "Full" license of Unity 3D game engine (more eye candies, for example dynamic shadows, better looking water and fog);
• Finishing multiplayer and additional programming work. Do you want more adventure elements? Or more platformer? Or maybe more RPG? Let's discuss it together!

Stretch goals will be defined after this project will be successfully funded. At the moment I am thinking about localization into different languages and additional platforms. And of course more islands!
